Primitive Camping means with a tent and no service like electricity and water. This is the cheapest way.
Not all parks offer this lower rate.

Camper / Motor home pull in sites can come with a variety of amenities. Rates vary depending if they are with and without services such as electrical hook-up, water, waste water dump and cable TV.

Cabins: When available rates often vary depending on location and the size of the cabin within the park.

Cottages:
Same thing applies as for cabins about location and size prices.

Dogs: Parks vary on this, but some welcome well behaved dogs. Some charge $15. per night for a dog to stay with you. You are always expected to clean up after your dog.

Some parks do not welcome dogs, and others prohibit them from certain areas such as buildings on site etc. Leash regulations often apply, as well.

Activities are usually based on the type of location.
The campground headquarters can provide you with information about campground activities and events.

Often there are lists and pamphlets for local tourist attractions there.

Most offer a beach or swimming pool or river. Canoeing or boating is often available.

Almost all have picnic areas and hiking trails.

For those that like golf, there are some campgrounds with a course nearby or in the park.
